Highlands 02:47
Wake up turn city lights on Sly sinners on the run Don't buy the Sunday paper We race towards the Sun Complete and utter shambles What are we fighting for? Unleash the final countdown Forecast another war Third rock’s a frickin’ time bomb We need to soldier on Solutions limping forward Are destined to the floor Third rock’s a frickin’ time bomb Emerging from the core Blind eyes escape the present Future is a media whore Third rock’s a frickin’ time bomb Emerging more and more Cowardly voices ringing Just slamming shut the door

Chacarita 04:22
When you walked in the room you were all smiles and gloom Too bad for me it was too soon, so soon I’m not so proud or eager to say That you have caught me and her fooling today Trapped like a tiger on visiting day, ten thousand miles away Then when you came across those eyes of mine And told me to stop there, I’m a waste of your time Should I ask you to join us girl? That’s what is going through my head Should I ask you to join us girl? It seems the cards have been dealt Before the day is lost I’ll buy some time Send our best photograph with a few “I’m sorry” lines This won’t be easy to mend Through the fighting and squabbles again I’ll chase you everywhere But oh, you’re so fast Should I ask you to join us girl? That’s what is going through my head Should I ask you to join us girl? It seems the cards have been dealt Should I ask you to join us girl? That’s what is going through my head Should I ask you to join us girl? It seems the cards have been dealt It started out with and exchanged glance It was the kind of feeling you can call romance And I was buying drinks as I watched her dance I never thought someone like me would stand a chance Before I knew it she was in my room Before I knew it you were back too soon Before I knew it she was on my chest Before I knew it I’d ripped off her dress

Even though the day is long Life’s too short says everyone I’d rather fail and start again Than cry for things I should have done As you walked in I could smell you behind me My clever lines suddenly seemed so dull I’m no stalker but I’d do it again, I followed you home, I followed you home Give me one good reason why you won’t open the door Don’t tell me you don’t know me ´cause you’ve seen me here before I’m not the kind of preppy guy who chases girls around But there’s something in that smile of yours that stands out in the crowd. I’m waiting for the time So many excuses fill my mind So what is so wrong if I take a chance? Coincidence or another glance? As you walked in you seemed so excited Who makes you smile on the end of the phone? I’m no stalker but I’d do it again, I followed you home, I followed you home Give me one good reason why you won’t open the door Don’t tell me you don’t know me ´cause you’ve seen me here before I’m not the kind of preppy guy who chases girls around But there’s something in those eyes of yours that stand out in the crowd. Give me one reason why you won’t open the door Don’t tell me you don’t know me ´cause you’ve seen me here before I’m not the kind of preppy guy who chases girls around But there’s something in those eyes of yours that stand out in the crowd. Give me one reason why you won’t open the door Don’t tell me you don’t know me ´cause you’ve seen me here before I’m not the kind of ladies guy who chases girls around But there’s something in that pretty face that stands out in the crowd.

Dance it Off 03:07
You are not here anymore Not here but in my song The song I chose for you The song I love, the song we loved, the song I love Every song that makes me dance And brings peace to my heart This song is for you (The song I love, the song we loved) This song I chose for you

Closer, she moves close to me Glow in her eyes Want her to come home with me Tonight… Someday I won’t be chasing after you Someday I won’t be dancing here with you Someday Slowly bites her lips to tease Glow in her eyes Tell me what you meant to say Outside… Someday I won’t be chasing after you Someday I won’t be dancing here with you Someday Someday I won’t be chasing after you Someday I won’t be dancing here with you Someday I won’t be here someday You will regret someday Someday right here.

It happened all so long ago They met by chance, embraced by the cold and wet Upset, she threw away her cigarette And ran as fast away as she could That’s when I recognised you From a glimpse in the shop window Reflecting a liar in despair I could say that I don’t care I could say that I don’t care I could say that I don’t care But being that person I just cant bare It happened on a Tuesday when He received a call from someone who announced the end A friend? or is it just a sour blend, you know And drove home in confusion That’s when I recognised you From a glimpse in the car mirror Reflecting a liar in despair I could say that I don’t care I could say that I don’t care I could say that I don’t care But being that person I just can’t bare

Deception is the story of a man with your same name Who could turn night into day, lead the way, or go astray His flaws were imperceptible and his moves always at stake And although no one really knew him By no chance he was a fake Don’t get tied down into shackles and chains You’ve proven your words are a matter of shame Find your way out of this paradox maze Take the first step and jump out of the plane yeah yeah yeah Your mind high in a lonely place you call paradise, let it go It’s a bleeding eye staring at the fate Realize this time it’s not your show Keep your head down How did he seem to know? I said he’s saving all the action prompting for the extra show I said he’s saving all the action prompting for the extra show I said he’s saving all the action prompting for the extra show Your mind high in a lonely place you call paradise, let it go It’s a bleeding eye staring at the fate Realize this time it’s not your show Keep your head down

Time is a friend of mine It taught how to see How ticking melts the lies away Love was a mistake of mine The wise should the warn the inclined poor fools Fall and pick up the reins Fail and start once again Allow the paths to bend Fear is a foe of mine A presence to ignore Run from the predator She pins me down against the floor And whispers gently I my ear Keep away from the sun Hope is strength of mine It forced me to be me And lifts me up into a dream Fail and explore a trend Fall and pick up again Allow the paths to bend I will impress those eyes Blindfolded to surprise Spotlight shines down on me I know it all, let this begin.

Slither slide right past their pride The evil eye storms in again From suspicious charm to a twisted arm Attacks the wounds of fragile minds I know I’m not first in line To taste your famous poisonous wine But I know tonight’s prey will fall for your sway And hand over his soul to quench your thirst Yes it is your thirst, and I know it is ok Hissing dissing boys around Shining dancing laughing loud Your moves are quick, and you’ve made your pick And coil into the art of seduction Stripped down by the whisky blend It’s one more victim, yes it’s a friend Who is rather a stumbler than a walker And got caught and squeezed by your grip. Yes it is your grip, and I know it is ok Slither away Slither away Slither away Slither slide right past their pride The evil eye storms in again From suspicious charm to a twisted arm Attacks the wounds of fragile minds I know I’m not first in line To taste your famous poisonous wine But I know tonight’s prey will fall for your sway Relentless pursuit to entice the lamb They bite the apple and spin round and round and round…

Feathers 04:03
I set my alarm to go off an hour before I get up and let it ring every ten minutes, but I’m always late. I guess it would be nice to own a GPS to avoid getting caught in traffic jams, and I think about her… she might well be a keeper. I need to talk I’ll let you sing All of those melodies That fit this song I can’t concentrate for two minutes straight, but I find deep pleasure in waving at people who don’t know me on the street. Occasionally I fall asleep with all my clothes on, telly on lights on, and then I wake up at 5am, my dinner still on the plate. Ohh Ohh Ohh Ohh I sometimes find myself exaggerating a little bit, but… don’t we all? I play the lottery once a week cause one day I’ll win, and that will give me time to sleep a siesta and do some other things like watch trash TV, eat food I like, not broccoli, leaks or sweet potatoes… I absolutely hate those. I need to talk I’ll let you sing All of those melodies That fit this song I need to talk I’ll let you sing All of those melodies That fit this song. ...THE END...
